Dark Knight Rises: New info SH

(Please also read post of Dec. 9, 2012)

Something we might never have had a piece of the puzzle for, about the movie and that Sandy Hook prop in the movie: the prop master, who would have known more about the "Sandy Hook" appearing on the map in the "Dark Knight Rises" movie, was dead of assumed non-life-threatening injuries from a car crash that spring, in Newtown, where he was from! Whether his injuries were actually non life threatening or not when he was brought to hospital, he was from Newtown, CT. The "Sandy Hook" name on the prop was added some time between the trailer and the movie's appearance, I have read. If that's so, then it was an interesting change. There woulld other things a top behind-the-scenes guy (in this case a prop master) might know or hear of, of course.

One more “long-shot coincidence”: Sandy Hook, Dark Knight Rises, Batman (also relates to Aurora shooting, in effect)

The murders at the premier of the The Dark Night Rises, in Colorado, and the massacre at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, have yet another bizarre connection.

First of all, in the film, The Dark Knight Rises, which premiered last summer in Aurora, where a killer(s) took the lives of 12 theater goers, wounding 58 others, there is a moment at one-hour, fifty-eight minutes. A startling moment in the Batman movie. Commissioner Gordon is talking about thwarting an imminent attack on “Strike Zone One.”

At that moment, he points to the only legible words on a map lying on a table in front of him. The words are: SANDY HOOK. The scene of the massacre last month at a Connecticut elementary school. The other recent massacre.

And now, by way of an article at BeforeItsNews.com, we have a new tie-in. The unlisted author of that article cites a story from a newspaper in Connecticut, The Stamford Advocate. Dated April 7, 2012, it has so far flown under the radar. It reports a death in an automobile accident, on the Merritt Parkway. The victim was Scott Getzinger. [ http://beforeitsnews.com/economy/2013/01/sandy-hook-massacre-coincidence-99-dark-knight-rises-prop-master-scott-getzinger-died-in-april-2012-car-accident-from-non-life-threatening-injuries-2476946.html ]

Mr. Getzinger was the property master on The Dark Knight Rises. As such, there is a chance he, in fact, selected that map with the words SANDY HOOK printed on it. The property master is responsible for all props used in a film.
The Stamford Advocate [ http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/news/article/Newtown-man-dies-in-Stamford-accident-3465225.php ] story mentions that Getzinger’s injuries were, at first, called non-life threatening by the police. But then he died.

The last fact of the story is stunning, to say the least. Mr. Getzinger was a resident of…Newtown, Connecticut.

As I and others have pointed out previously, the production designer of The Dark Knight Rises, Nathan Crowley, is related to the infamous black-magic British legend, Aleister Crowley, sometimes called The Great Beast 666. Aleister was Nathan’s grandfather’s cousin.

Then we have the fact that Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games, a novel in which 23 children are ritually sacrificed in combat by the dystopian state, also lives in Sandy Hook/Newtown.  [Clare for blog youcanknowsometimes.blogspot.com adds: Collins lives specifically in Sandy Hook]

Article from Stamford Advocate about the death:

STAMFORD -- A 46-year-old Newtown man who worked behind the scenes on numerous blockbuster films was killed in a head-on accident on the Merritt Parkway Friday evening.

Scott Getzinger [ http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=news&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Scott+Getzinger%22 ], a property master who provided props for more than 25 films, including "Spider-Man," "Independence Day," "The Truman Show" and the upcoming "Men in Black III" and "The Dark Knight Rises," died at Stamford Hospital [ http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=news&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Stamford+Hospital%22 ] after sustaining severe injuries.

Getzinger suffered multiple broken bones, but was described as conscious and alert after being cut out of the 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck he was driving. State police initially characterized his injuries as non-life threatening.

The accident was reported at 7:02 p.m. when a 1999 Lexus RX300 driven by Alexandra Orteig, 18, of New Canaan lost control while traveling south on the parkway near Exit 36 and spun around, striking the center median guardrail and crossing over the highway into the northbound lanes.

Getzinger was driving northbound in the right-hand lane when the Lexus SUV slammed head-on crushing the front-end of his truck.

Orteig and a 17-year-old passenger also from New Canaan were also taken to Stamford Hospital. Orteig was admitted overnight and released Saturday. The passenger was not admitted to the hospital.

The accident shut down both sides of the parkway in Stamford for about 90 minutes as volunteer firefighters from Turn of River Fire Department [ http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/?controllerName=search&action=search&channel=news&search=1&inlineLink=1&query=%22Turn+of+River+Fire+Department%22 ] worked to cut Getzinger out of the truck and paramedics attended to all three victims.

State police said the accident is under investigation and no charges have been filed.

Getzinger's family declined to comment.
